Interest Project Information
After the AP exam, we'll introduce the end of year project. You will need to TEACH us about a topic related to physics. The requirements are as follows:
You must TEACH us, as opposed to present to us. You will be assessed on how well you are able to engage the whole class in learning. You can do this by asking us questions, making us try problems, entertaining us, having us do a lab, giving us a quiz, etc.
You must show your passion for the topic, so make sure you pick something you're interested in.
15-18 minutes of interactive presentation.
In order to make sure that your presentation is as engaging as possible, watch the following video "How to avoid death by PowerPoint" (TED Talk) and look at the following rubric "Qualities of an Exceptional Presentation." Also, "How to Speak" (MIT).

For the two weeks, prepare your presentation, any handouts, labs, assessments, etc. that you'll be using to engage us in learning about your topic. Fill out the Lesson Plan below by the beginning of class on Wednesday, May 28th. I will review these during class and give you feedback.
