Today, we’ll start Unit 9 and talk about what makes current flow. We’ll relate circuits to the concepts of electric fields and electric potential.
If you were absent or need a review, watch the first 12 minutes of the "Electric Current Introduction" video to learn how circuits relate to the concepts of electric fields and electric potential.
Then, we'll do a lab where you will construct the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance. You will record your data and analysis in the lab in ↩️ Pivot Interactives called "Current and Voltage in Conductors (in-person)". You should be able to get all of your data during this class period. There may be time at the end of next class period (after the assessment) to work on your analysis. If you are not present for either day of the lab, you'll do the lab in ↩️ Pivot Interactives called "Current and Voltage in Conductors (virtual)".
