Today we'll continue to learn how to use our free-body diagrams to solve problems using Newton's Second Law.
In addition, we'll talk about the results of the lab and learn about what the accepted value is for our constant.
Presentation: How to use Newton's Second Law
Homework: Do page 4 #1 only in Newton's Second Law packet. SOLUTIONS. Make sure you draw free body diagrams for all problems.
Today, we'll apply Newton's Second Law by collaboratively completing page 1 only in Newton's Second Law packet.
Homework: Make sure you've finished page 1 only in Newton's Second Law packet. SOLUTIONS.
We'll start with a discussion on freefall in π Pear Deck. You'll collectively investigate freefall using the video you made while in your lab groups utilizing the ποΈ Vernier Video Analysis online tool.
After debriefing the output of your video investigation, we'll practice using ideas of freefall in β Positive Physics from unit 3: free-fall:
complete problems 1
complete problems 2
complete problems 3
challenge
Homework: Finish freefall problems in β Positive Physics unit 3 by Thursday at 10pm. Only completion score will count, so you can continue to try if you get it wrong the first time. Try to finish these problems early in case you run into technical difficulty.
If for some reason you missed today's lesson, you can watch the following freefall recap video.
