Today, we'll work on these problems from Chapter 2 #20, 33-36, 44, 48, 54-58, 77. Remember to try to stay in variables until the last step of the problem! This is one of the skills you will be graded on.

Homework: You will have the opportunity to ask questions about these Chapter 2 problems next class, so make sure you've completed a fair number of them. Finish all of the textbook problems by Wednesday at 10pm. Select two of these problems to write up neatly. Again, scan your full solution to PDF and upload it to the assignment in ✏️ Google Classroom. Make sure to include all the components of problem solving reviewed in class:

  1. Draw a picture or diagram or graph.

  2. Pick a sign convention.

  3. List your knowns and unknowns.

  4. Write the formula you'll be using.

  5. Rearrange the formula with algebra so that your unknown is on the left side of the equals and all the knowns are on the right. STAY IN VARIABLES!

  6. Plug in numbers and box your answer.
