New WW-P ISO Club

posted Oct 30, 2017, 6:56 AM by Barbara Fortunato
The WW-P International Science Olympiads (ISO) Club is a student run out-of-school organization that is dedicated to helping students in our district further their interest in science and prepare for the International Science Olympiads. Currently, there are study sessions for the physics, chemistry, and biology Olympiads. The club is run by students from both North and South, and we welcome students from both schools to join!

The club meets once a week on weekends at the West Windsor Library. The club officers are individuals who have competed in various International Science Olympiads in the past, and have achieved notable results. At club meetings, the officers will give a short lecture on a topic, then everyone will work together on competition-type problems on that topic. The three subjects (physics, chemistry, biology) will be on rotation so that each subject meets once every 3 weeks. Whether or not you've participated in the international science Olympiads before, this is a great way for you to have fun learning science beyond the classroom while connecting with peers who share an interest in science.

If you're interested in joining the club, check out our website at https://sites.google.com/view/wwpisoclub/home.
