What is power? How can we calculate our own horse power?

Today, I'll take any questions you have on the elastic potential energy.  

Then, we'll learn about power. Power is defined as work per unit time. We'll do a lab to calculate our own horsepower while climbing the stairs.  In class, you'll finish back page of horsepower lab and read this brief article on horsepower to help you understand it.
