How do you solve momentum problems in two dimensions?

Then, we'll look at some problems in order to learn about momentum in two dimensions.  Remember the independence of x and y components.  It holds true for momentum too.  
 
Homework:  Study for QUIZ next class -  Tuesday, February 6th on simple momentum and impulse problems in one dimension. In preparation for the quiz, review this video on ballistic pendulum:
