We'll start class with our first daily quiz (which you'll do in your journal).  This will test your ability to apply the principles in the free body diagram video.

Then, I will continue class by taking any questions you have about the homework the first night, the flipped classroom video.  We'll discuss video-watching strategies.

We'll hold elections for our Class Secretary today as well.

If there's time, we'll start by talking about what other skills that we will be developing in this class.  We will discuss our desire to become the following:
  • Flexible & Self-directed Learners
  • Collaborative Team Members
  • Creative & Practical Problem Solvers
  • Effective Communicators
  • Globally Aware & Responsible Citizens
  • Information Literate Researchers
These skills are very important, so I don't want to rush our discussion.  We'll continue to talk about them next class and throughout the year.

Homework:  I want you to watch the second video tonight.  Don't forget to take notes, pause, rewind, replay, or even fast forward if necessary.  Come to class with any questions you have and be prepared for a daily quiz next class.  Also, join our Google Classroom.  If you did not get an invitation by your school google email, please email me.
