How do you design an experiment to find the moment of inertia of the PVC-T?

Today,  I will assign your lab groups based on your Learning Styles Quiz.  Then, you'll work collaboratively to plan an investigation (design an experiment) to find the moment of inertia of the PVC-T.  We'll learn about how to use certain lab equipment to get the most accurate data possible.  Remember to be flexible about your design, and be willing to take risks in changing the experiment if it's not working out.  If you finish taking data for your experiment, you can start your write-up.

Homework [Period 2 - no homework weekend] Period 4 - Use this Lab Report Format to start to shape your report in Google Classroom for the PVC-T lab.  Divide up the work for the lab report and get a chunk of it done.  For example, get your abstract and intro done.  Draw diagrams for your set-up and write a paragraph explaining the procedure.  You can certainly write the part of the conclusion with the application to the real world.  Next class, you'll be focused on getting your data by conducting the experiment, so don't write the main body of your report yet.  DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!
